LOVE WESTON and AREA
Thank you for considering a gift to

CAP Weston-Super-Mare

Every gift you give — whether a one-off donation or a regular monthly gift — helps bring free, professional debt help back to families across Weston-super-Mare and Worle.
Your generosity funds home visits from a trained debt coach, practical emergency support, and the training and running costs behind this local service.
Thank you for standing with us.

How to give

You can give online now, quickly and securely, using a debit or credit card, or by bank payment — as a one-off gift or a regular monthly gift, whichever suits you best.

We use the ‘Give a Little’ online giving scheme, hosted for us by our lead Church - Christ Church, Weston-super-Mare. This lets us offer you secure, trusted online giving without CAP Weston-super-Mare needing to run its own separate payment system.

Because of this, your email receipt will come from the ‘Give a Little’ Christ Church scheme rather than from CAP Weston-super-Mare directly — that’s completely normal, and nothing to worry about. Every penny you give goes towards CAP’s work here in Weston-super-Mare.

If you’d like to give but not online, call Emma on 01934 641016 (weekday mornings – Monday to Friday).

Gift Aid — make your gift go further, at no extra cost to you

If you’re a UK taxpayer, Gift Aid means we can claim an extra 25p for every £1 you give — increasing the value of your gift by 25%, at no extra cost to you at all. It only takes a moment to add a Gift Aid declaration when you give online.

To Gift Aid your donation, you need to:

be a UK taxpayer, and
have paid enough UK Income Tax and/or Capital Gains Tax in the relevant tax year to cover the amount that will be claimed on all your Gift Aid donations (currently 25p for every £1 you give)

If you pay less tax than the amount of Gift Aid claimed on your donations in any tax year, it’s your responsibility to pay any difference to HMRC. If your tax situation changes — for example, if you stop paying enough tax, or your name or home address changes — please let us know so we can update your declaration. Gift Aid cannot be claimed on donations made on behalf of someone else, or by a company.
